Check Mark 3: A House

My third check mark - buying a house.  After 5 years of living in the condo, my (at the time) future husband and I decided to buy a house.  We figured it was about time we gave our 90 pound black lab a real backyard.

We were fortunate enough to buy our house in the city and school district we wanted, with the perfect backyard for our dog (and us - see pic below), and in the price range we needed.  The only downfall was it needed a little fixing up.  However, not only do we now have the memories of working on our house together and getting it looking exactly how we wanted, I also learned how handy my (now) hubby really is!

Three years later, we still believe this is our forever home!
