Check Mark 32: Go to Vatican City

In 2011, we had a chance to sneak off to Rome for a couple days - just enough to visit Vatican City and see the Coliseum and Roman Forum.  Seriously - how cool is Vatican City?!  I mean, it's its own state ruled by the Pope and has it's own currency (kind of).  Regardless, it's a pretty cool place full of history and art!
